Healthy Pumpkin Pie Smoothie has 16 grams of protein and 5 grams of fiber. This smoothie is super creamy and delicious!
I created this recipe when I was craving the flavors of pumpkin pie, but didn't want to bake anything.
This pumpkin pie smoothie is one of my new favorite recipes for a snack or even for dessert! It's perfectly thick and resembles the taste of pumpkin pie.
Why you'll love this Pumpkin Pie Smoothie:
- Thick and creamy - The wonderful texture comes from frozen banana, yogurt and pumpkin puree.
- No protein powder - This smoothie doesn't contain protein powder, but still contains a good amount of protein from the yogurt and milk. It will keep you full and satisfied!
- Low in added sugar - The only sweetener we're using in this smoothie is one tablespoon of pure maple syrup.
Ingredients overview:
- canned pumpkin puree - Not pumpkin pie mix! Pumpkin pie mix has other ingredients besides pumpkin and itβs sweetened.
- plain Greek yogurt - I recommend full-fat Greek yogurt for maximum creaminess and healthy fats.
- frozen banana - Β½ frozen banana helps thicken the smoothie and sweeten it naturally.
- pure maple syrup - Use more if you like your smoothies extra sweet.
- milk - Use dairy milk or non-dairy milk.
- pumpkin pie spice - For all those classic warming flavors of pumpkin pie!
- ice cubes - To help with thickness.
Store-bought pumpkin pie spice vs. homemade:
I typically buy pumpkin pie spice from the store or from Amazon, but you can also make your own.
Combine cinnamon, ginger, allspice, cloves and nutmeg.
You can even use THIS recipe.
This pumpkin smoothie is not the only recipe you will need pumpkin pie spice for. Use homemade pumpkin pie spice for other pumpkin recipes likeβ¦

This was so good! I have powdered/dehydrated pumpkin and I'm always looking for new recipes to use it! 1/4c powder = 1 cup puree (in case anyone was wondering). This was great!

This smoothie was so good that I went out and bought three cans of pumpkin so I can make some during my workdays! It almost tastes too good to be healthy! (I add one more tbsp of maple syrup on days when I want something more sweet!)

Awesome! Thank you so much, Jen. π

This was really good! I added a packet of stevia to increase sweetness a bit rather than more maple syrup. Delicious!
