Hello and thanks for visiting my page! My name is Krista. I enjoy creating healthy recipes, motivating others and spreading sunshine wherever I go. I love food! I always have ever since I was a little girl. You could find me on the couch glued to The Food Network and an hour later attempting to make an extravagant meal for my family. As I grew older, I realized what foods fuel our bodies and what foods just satisfy our cravings. I began to exercise and recreate new, healthier versions of the foods I always loved. I started to notice that many of those around me found it difficult to enjoy healthy foods and live healthier lifestyles. This saddened me because food is meant to be enjoyed! I began my Instagram to share my easy, healthy and DELICIOUS recipes with my followers and motivate those around me to be the best versions of themselves.
Disclaimer: This certainly does not mean that I do not eat those other foods that simply satisfy our cravings. Did you notice that glorious brownie above?! It definitely was not gluten-free, refined sugar-free or vegan. This is where the word balance comes into play. I love to travel, I love to spend time with friends and family and I love trying out new restaurants. All of those experiences include food. The food we eat during those times may not always be the healthiest but food is meant to bring us joy! As long as we eat all foods in moderation, a bowl of pasta and a cannoli once a week will do no harm – I PROMISE!
