If you are looking for the perfect fall smoothie, this is the answer to your prayers. The combination of apple, almond butter, vanilla and warming spices is unlike any other smoothie. I added some extra diced apple and Almond Butter Granola on top to make it really feel like an apple pie or even apple crisp. This smoothie makes a great breakfast or snack!
Ingredients in Healthy Cinnamon Apple Smoothie (without Yogurt)
- diced apple (no need to peel)
- pitted medjool date (if you don't have medjool dates, use 2 regular deglet noor dates)
- ice cubes
- hemp seeds
- chia seeds
- natural creamy almond butter
- unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
- vanilla extract
- ground cinnamon
- ground cardamom (I love the extra spice this gives, but you can omit if you don't like cardamom)
- optional: A couple of teaspoons of maple syrup for extra sweetness
