Healthy Cinnamon Apple Smoothie is basically apple pie in smoothie form. Plus, this smoothie is super creamy without banana or yogurt!

Ingredients
  

  • ¾ cup diced apple (no need to peel)
  • 1 pitted medjool date (if you don't have medjool dates, use 2 regular deglet noor dates)
  • 1 handful ice cubes (plus extra for serving)
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon natural creamy almond butter
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk or milk of choice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom (I love the extra spice this gives, but you can omit if you don't like cardamom)
  • optional: A couple of teaspoons of maple syrup for extra sweetness

Instructions
 

  • In a high-powered blender, add all ingredients and blend on high for 1 minute or until all ingredients are well combined. Add in more almond milk, if needed. Pour over ice. Optional: Top with extra diced apple and Almond Butter Granola.
