If you are searching for the easiest healthy bagel recipe, look no further. These bagels are made with 7 ingredients and take less than 30 minutes from start to finish! These are smaller than a traditional bagel which I personally like. I love having two of these for breakfast with mashed avocado or vegan cream cheese paired with eggs. How will you enjoy these bagels?
Use a Donut Pan to Make these Healthy Bagels!
Make your life easier and use a donut pan to create the classic bagel shape. No need to fuss about shaping the dough. Purchase the donut pans I use HERE.
Ingredients Used to Make homemade bagels with greek yogurt:
- gluten free oat flour
- coconut flour
- baking powder
- plain greek yogurt
- eggs
- olive oil
- everything bagel seasoning
How do you make healthy bagels?
- In a mixing bowl combine oat flour, coconut flour, baking powder, greek yogurt and eggs. As the dough begins to form, switch your spoon out for your hands. Use your hands to form the dough.
- Grease your donut pan with about ½ tbsp olive oil. Grab ¼ measuring cup. Scoop ¼ of the dough and try to make a rope as even and smooth as possible. Pinch ends to form a round circle and place into the donut pan. Repeat 5 more times.
- Drizzle olive oil (1 tbsp) over each bagel and sprinkle everything bagel spice over the top.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Allow the bagels to cool before removing them from the pan and slicing.
What if I don't have a donut pan?
No worries! First form a disk with your hands and then create a hole in the middle with your finger to create a bagel-like shape. You can cook them on a sheet pan.
Can I meal prep this yogurt bagel recipe?
Yes! You can make these bagels in advance and store them in the freezer. When ready to eat, heat one or two in the microwave for a few seconds, slice in half, toast and enjoy!

Love this recipe and how easy they were to make! I meal prepped these bagels for the week and they turned out great. I also subbed a dairy free greek yogurt using kite hills plain unsweetened almond milk greek yogurt and it worked out well in this recipe. Thanks for the great bagel recipe krista 😊

Hi! Can I still use oat flour as a sub for the coconut flour?? I am planning to follow this recipe, it looks so good!
krista
Hi! I recommend following the ingredients/directions as instructed for best results. I can't guarantee the bagels will have the same texture without the coconut flour.
Teresa Hansen
May I substitute almond flour for the oat flour?
krista
No, they have different textures.

I started to make these without double checking all of my ingredients… I ended out using cottage cheese (blended smooth) instead of Greek yogurt and egg whites instead of whole eggs. They came out the same as before! Love these!!
krista
Omg love that idea!
