You will never buy a package of croutons again after you try out this recipe. They come out so crispy and flavorful from the mix of spices. These little golden nuggets are the perfect addition to any soup or salad! I'll leave some of my best soup and salad recipes below for your convenience.

- avocado oil
- garlic powder
- herbs de provence
- salt & pepper
How to make gluten free croutons?
First, cut the bread into cubes. Then, place the cubed bread into a large bowl with avocado oil and spices. Use your hands to make sure the bread is coated evenly in the oil and spices. After, spread out all of the bread onto a sheet pan. Bake at 375 degrees F for 8-10 minutes or until crisp. (Flipping halfway)
Alternative method if you have an air fryer!
How to make croutons in the air fryer?
First, cut the bread into cubes. Then, place the cubed bread into a large bowl with avocado oil and spices. Use your hands to make the sure the bread is coated evenly in the oil and spices. Place the cubes into a single layer in your air fryer. You may have to make this recipe in batches depending on the size of your air fryer. Air fry at 385 degrees F for 5-8 minutes until crisp.
How to store homemade croutons?
Store homemade croutons in an airtight container on the kitchen counter for a week. If they lose their crispiness, reheat them in the oven or air fryer before enjoying.

- First, cut the bread into cubes. (About 3 ½ cups)
- Then, place the cubed bread into a large bowl with avocado oil, garlic powder, herbs de provence and salt & pepper to taste.
- Use your hands to make sure the bread is coated evenly in the oil and spices.
- After, spread out all of the bread onto a sheet pan.
- Bake at 375 degrees F for 8-10 minutes or until crisp. (Flipping halfway)
