Healthy Tuna Pasta Salad Recipe
This Healthy Tuna Pasta Salad is a delicious and balanced meal filled with protein, fats and carbs. To make this recipe, mix together pasta, tuna, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion and olives. Pour the Homemade Dijon Balsamic Dressing over the top and combine. This recipe is also great for meal prep! It becomes even more flavorful as it sits in the fridge.
Ingredients in Healthy Tuna Pasta Salad Recipe:
- dried farfalle pasta – I used Protein+ (Plus) Farfalle Pasta!
- drained tuna – I used Trader Joe’s Wild Skipjack Tuna
- halved cherry tomatoes
- chopped cucumbers
- diced red onion
- chopped kalamata olives

- olive oil

- fresh lemon juice

How do you make tuna pasta salad?
- Cook pasta, drain pasta and rinse with cold water.
- In a bowl, mix together pasta with drained tuna, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion and olives.
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, balsamic vinegar, fresh lemon juice, dijon mustard, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt and black pepper.
- Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture, combine and enjoy!
