You don't even have to defrost the edamame!

They're not bland! We're adding sesame oil, garlic powder and salt.

Note: Water will collect at the bottom of the air fryer. Do not flip the air fryer over to add the edamame to a bowl or the water will pour over the edamame.

Use a spatula to lift the edamame out of the air fryer.

If desired, sprinkle the edamame with extra salt to serve.

Make sure you use unshelled frozen edamame for this recipe.

I recommend preheating your air fryer for even cooking.

Since the edamame are coated in oil, there is no need to add oil to the air fryer basket.

Shake the air fryer basket halfway through cooking.

Can these be made in oven? Don't have an air fryer.

Probably you may just have to cook them for a bit longer.

Sounds yum! Thanks for the simple yet interesting recipe. Seems like a very silly question but do we eat the peel as well or just the edamame beans inside?
