15 minute Air Fryer Bagels are made with 7 healthy ingredients.
These high protein Greek yogurt bagels are yeast free, fluffy and delicious!
Why you'll love Air Fryer Bagels:
They have the perfect bagel texture! They're crusty on the outside and soft on the inside.
They're customizable. You can add whatever toppings you'd like. I made sesame bagels for this batch.
Each bagel has 10 grams of protein!
You can store them in the fridge to enjoy all week long. Alternatively, you can store them in the freezer to enjoy for months to come.
Ingredients:
- white whole wheat flour - You can substitute whole wheat flour or all purpose flour, but I recommend white whole wheat flour for best results. I haven't tried gluten free flour.
- baking powder
- salt
- plain Greek yogurt - I used 2% fat.
- egg
- oil spray of choice
- sesame seeds - You can use other toppings if you'd like.

How do you make yeast free bagels?
Preheat your air fryer.
In a mixing bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt, Greek yogurt and an egg with a silicone spatula.
As the dough begins to form, switch out the spatula for your clean hands.
Begin to knead the dough until you have a round ball of dough.
If the dough is too sticky, add a sprinkle or two of flour.
Divide the dough into six equal parts with a knife.
Prepare your working surface. Add a sprinkle of flour to a cutting board.
Wet your hands with a little warm water to make it easier to work with the dough.
Pick up one of the six sections.
Roll the dough into a rope and pinch the ends to form a round circle.
Repeat until you have six bagels.
Spray each bagel with a little oil spray.
Sprinkle and gently press the sesame seeds into the top of each bagel.
Spray the air fryer basket with a little oil spray to keep the bagels from sticking.
Air fry the bagels at 350 degrees F for 10-15 minutes.
Cook them in two separate batches unless you have a very large air fryer.
Recipe pro-tips:
I recommend preheating your air fryer.
Properly measure flour by spooning the flour into the measuring cup. Then, level off the top of the cup with a knife. Do not place the measuring cup into the bag and scoop. You could end up with more flour than needed.
If the dough is too sticky, just add some more flour.
Wetting your hands with a bit of warm water helps make it easier to work with the dough.
I recently purchased THIS AIR FRYER and I absolutely love it!
Recipe variations:
Instead of sesame seeds on top of the bagels use...
- everything bagel spice
- poppy seeds
- coarse salt
- shredded cheese
Storing and reheating instructions:
Store the air fryer bagels in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Freeze for up to 3 months.
Reheat them in the air fryer for a few minutes.
Or, microwave them for 20-30 seconds, cut in half and toast in the toaster.

Hi what can I substitute the yogurt with.
I have a dairy intolerant.
krista
You could try a dairy free Greek yogurt, but I'm not sure if it would produce the same results. I haven't tried for myself.
