Vanilla Nut Protein Bars

All you need is 7 wholesome ingredients to make these oatmeal protein bars. Plus, they are SO delicious. Seriously, you will never want to buy protein bars again! This homemade protein bar recipe contains oats, crunchy cashews and a vanilla flavor from the added whey protein powder. Prep these bars on Sunday to enjoy as a healthy on-the-go snack throughout the week.

Ingredients Needed to Make Vanilla Nut Protein Bars:

  • gluten free oats
  • vanilla protein powder - (I used vanilla whey protein powder)
  • maple syrup
  • creamy almond butter
  • melted coconut oil
  • egg white
  • raw chopped cashews

How do you make protein bars from scratch?

  1. Combine oats, protein powder, maple syrup, almond butter, coconut oil, egg white and cashews together in a mixing bowl.
  2. Press the mixture into an 8x8 baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-22 minutes.
  4. Let cool completely before slicing into bars. Store in the freezer.
