I absolutely love these brownie bites! I used chocolate almond butter and soy milk instead of regular almond butter and almond milk because that's what I had on hand. I also rolled them into smaller bites because I prefer smaller truffle-sized snacks throughout the day. Will definitely make these again and again! 🙂
krista
So glad you enjoyed these bites, Nancy and thank you for letting us know about the substitutions! So helpful. 🙂 – Krista <3
Lisa
Hello! When i tried recipe it was dry crumble? Any thoughts?
krista
I would guess that the nut butter didn't have a creamy drippy consistency.

Love this recipe yummy and simple! I’ve made it twice. So easy as a mom on the go.

such a quick simple treat to make! i used normal sized chocolate chips so the bites are a little bigger but still a nice chocolate treat 🙂

These came together really easily. I added a scoop of protein powder, because I like to bump up the protein. It was off-set by 1 additional TBS of almond milk. I didn’t have a runny almond butter option, so I used a different nut butter (same quantity). Also used date syrup instead of honey (again same quantity), because I thought it might work - which it did. I absolutely love recipes like this where you can make simple swaps based on what you have and they still work. Definitely will make again! 😋 Thank you for your generosity in sharing healthy recipes.
krista
Thank you so much for your kind comment, Nancy! I also appreciate you sharing your swaps in case others want to try the bites using your method. So happy you enjoyed. 🙂

These were so easy to make and so delicious! I couldn’t help myself from eating some of the batter before refrigerating, and now I grab one each time I want a sweet snack! Perfect for a healthy, chocolatey bite!
krista
I am so happy you enjoyed the bites, Sydney! It's almost impossible to wait for them to refrigerate. I understand. 🙂 – Krista <3

This is my new go-to favorite chocolate snack. I've made it a lot! I generally modify and use cashew butter instead of almond and found that I prefer it that way. I sometimes add a little vanilla as well.
I made them for a girlfriend's birthday and rolled them in sprinkles and mini chocolate chips to make them more festive!
krista
I love the additions of vanilla and cashew butter! Also, what a fun birthday treat! Thank you so much for your support, Stephanie. 🙂 – Krista <3

Corrine
What is the calorie count roughly per brownie bite?
krista
Hi Corrine! I do not provide calorie counts for my recipes. Feel free to plug the ingredients into an online calculator if interested!

I loved it 😍
krista
YAY! 🙂
Lisa
Sound great. Do you think I could sub oat flour for almond flour? Also, could I leave out the chocolate chips or are they necessary for the recipe?
krista
Oat flour and almond flour cannot typically be interchanged in a recipe. I would suggest leaving the chocolate chips in as they contribute to the brownie taste. If you are looking for a lower sugar chocolate chip, you can use super dark chocolate chips, cacao nobs, carob chips or sugar free chocolate chips.

I love these. Do you have nutritional values?
krista
So glad you love them! I purposely do not provide nutritional information because numbers can be triggering for some. I want this to be a safe space for all. If interested, you can type the ingredients into an online calculator and find the nutritional info for any recipe.
Eva
Hey!! Can you substitute almond milk for coconut milk or cows milk?? And do I have to put chocolate chips in this recipe if I don’t have them atm?
krista
Hi! You can use whatever milk you like. I recommend chocolate chips for a more chocolaty flavor, but you can omit them if you don't have them.
Bri
I make these every single week, so good!!
krista
Yay! 🙂

Hello,
I am not seeing any nutritional information on these or any of your recipes. It would be so helpful to those of us whom have to monitor the amounts of certain thing; calories, fat, fiber, protein etc. I can’t wait to try a lot of your recipes but I really need the info first. Thanks a bunch!
krista
I purposely do not provide nutritional information because numbers can be triggering for some. I want this to be a safe space for all. If interested, you can type the ingredients into an online calculator and find the nutritional info for any recipe. It’s also much more accurate since we probably use different brands.

Thank you for this wonderful recipe. I was looking for something simple, quick, and used things I already had on hand. I put a pinch of cinnamon, a drop of my homemade vanilla, and some ground up coffee beans in mine to make up for my low levels of chocolate chips. I rolled them around in some left over almond pulp that I had left over from making almond milk. Thank you so much. Keeper!!!!
krista
Love it!! 🙂
Val
Would love to try but don’t have almond flour on hand? Any substitution you recommend, especially a non-flour one? Thank you
krista
I have only made the recipe as listed
Lisa
These brownie bites are awesome. I am always looking for tasty healthy recipes to make for my daughter. This recipe is a winner in my household.
What I loved about this recipe is that it keeps me satisfied with only eating two of these bites.
Thank you,
Lisa

Hi Krista,
I am wondering if I could use peanut butter when I do no have almond butter?
Lisa
krista
Hi Lisa! Sure you can, just make sure it's drippy and not super thick.
Hailey
So easy and super yummy!

Im alergic to almonds what flour would you recommend to use instead?
krista
You could try oat flour, but I can't guarantee the same results.
