You just can't go wrong with a berry smoothie! This dairy free smoothie contains no yogurt and no protein powder. The frozen banana makes it creamy enough and I added hemp seeds for a natural source of protein. Did you know that 3 tablespoons of hemp seeds contains about 9 grams of protein? How awesome is that!?

Equipment

  • Blender

Ingredients
  

  • ¾ cup frozen mixed berries
  • ½ frozen banana
  • 3 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1-2 tbsp almond butter
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk or dairy free milk of choice

Instructions
 

  • In a high-powered blender, add all ingredients and blend on high for 1 minute or until all ingredients are well combined. Add in more almond milk, if needed. Serve over ice.
  • I added some coconut whipped cream, extra berries and hemp seeds on top!
