Frequently Asked Questions

What size mug is best for mug cake?

A taller mug is best so the batter doesn't flow over the sides when cooking in the microwave. Make sure the mug is microwave safe.

Can I make this an egg free mug cake?

No. The texture will not be the same.

Can you use an oven instead of a microwave for a mug cake?

Yes. Bake at 350 degrees F for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Make sure the mug is oven safe.
