What is delicata squash?
Delicata squash is a winter squash that is yellowish in color with green stripes.
Its skin is not very tough and is easy to eat when cooked.
It tastes like a mix of sweet potato and butternut squash.

- avocado oil or neutral oil of choice
- paprika
- garlic powder
- salt
- ground black pepper

How to make air fryer delicata squash:
First, preheat your air fryer.
Now, cut the squash.
Cut off both ends of the squash. Then, slice the squash in half lengthwise. Next, scoop out the seeds with a spoon. Lastly, slice it into ¼-inch thick half circles.
Place the cut squash into a bowl.
Add the oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt and ground black pepper.
Combine until the squash is coated.
Add the seasoned squash into your air fryer.
Air fry the squash at 400 degrees F for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway through.
If you have a smaller air fryer, I suggest making this recipe in two batches for even cooking.
