Ingredients
  

  • 1 delicata squash
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil or neutral oil of choice
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • First, preheat your air fryer. If your air fryer has a preheating option you can preheat your air fryer. If you don’t have that option, you can run the machine at 400 degrees F for 2-5 minutes. Leave the machine running for about 3 minutes for smaller air fryers. Leave the machine running for about 5 minutes for larger air fryers.
  • Now, cut the squash. Cut off both ends of the squash. Then, slice the squash in half lengthwise. Next, scoop out the seeds with a spoon. Lastly, slice it into ¼-inch thick half circles.
  • Place the cut squash into a bowl. Add the oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt and ground black pepper. Combine until the squash is coated.
  • Add the seasoned squash into your air fryer. Air fry the squash at 400 degrees F for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway through. If you have a smaller air fryer, I suggest making this recipe in two batches for even cooking.

Notes

I recommend preheating your air fryer for even cooking.
Since the squash is coated in oil, there is no need to add oil to the air fryer basket.
Shake the air fryer basket halfway through cooking.
