Fried Eggs with Feta Cheese went viral on social media for good reason! @graceelkus is the original creator of this recipe. I decided to make and share my own version with you.
Why you'll love Feta Fried Eggs:
- Easy, but impressive! - This recipe is super simple, but looks like a dish you would pay $20 at a restaurant while enjoying boozy brunch.
- Customizable - You can serve feta eggs however you would like. I decided to use pita bread, hummus, tomatoes and dill.
- Fast - This meal comes together in just about 10 minutes!
- Contains 22 grams of protein!
Ingredients overview:
- olive oil spray - To grease the pan for cooking the egg.
- crumbled feta cheese - Crumbling a block of feta works better than pre-crumbled, but both work.
- egg - I love pasture raised eggs.
- seasonings - We're using dried crushed red pepper flakes, salt and pepper!
- Serve over... pita bread, hummus, halved cherry tomatoes and fresh chopped dill!

- Reduce the heat if the the feta and egg start to burn.
- Use little salt because the feta cheese is already salty.
- Olive oil spray bottles come in handy for this recipe!
Recipe variations:
- Use goat cheese instead of feta cheese.
- Add pesto to the pan instead of olive oil spray.
- Use chili crisp oil instead of olive oil spray.
Serve Fried Feta Eggs on top of...
- a tortilla with avocado and fresh chives.
- sourdough bread with roasted red pepper spread.
- arugula with a drizzle of olive oil.
