This is the second time I have made this recipe and they are amazing! I decided to make muffins instead of bread. Excellent and the drizzle and pistachios were so good on them.
Thanks Krista for your delicious recipes.

I used to make this recipe quite a bit when I first started really baking again once I got clean (about a year and a half ago) and I decided to try it again as I had some pistachios lying around and was reminded why this is my absolute FAVORITE banana bread recipe! Honestly I should say this is really the only banana bread recipe I like as I don’t like banana bread and think it has a weird taste tbh. This is the exception tho! And it’s totally healthy, I might as well be eating oatmeal lol. So many other banana bread recipes call for a whole stick of butter (so not dairy free) and a shit ton of sugar on top of the bananas which are already sweet. My bananas weren’t super ripe so I added a tiny bit of liquid stevia as well especially since I have a major sweet tooth and upped the chocolate chip amount and it was just perfect 🙂
