How to make shishito peppers in an air fryer:
- Make the dipping sauce.
- Combine all the ingredients for the sauce in a small bowl until creamy.
- Preheat your air fryer.
- Place the cleaned peppers into a bowl.
- Add avocado oil.
- Combine until the peppers are coated in the oil.
- Add the seasoned peppers into your preheated air fryer.
- Air fry at 400 degrees F for 6-8 minutes, shaking halfway through cooking.
- If you have a small air fryer, make this recipe in two batches.

- 8 ounces shishito peppers
- 1 teaspoon avocado oil
- ¼ teaspoon flaky sea salt

- ⅔ cup 5% plain Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 ½ tablespoons cold water
- 1 ½ tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- ½ tablespoon fresh lemon zest
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions
- Make the dipping sauce. Combine all the ingredients for the sauce in a small bowl until creamy.
- First, preheat your air fryer. If your air fryer has a preheating option you can preheat your air fryer. If you don’t have that option, you can run the machine at 400 degrees F for 2-5 minutes. Leave the machine running for about 3 minutes for smaller air fryers. Leave the machine running for about 5 minutes for larger air fryers.
- Place the cleaned peppers into a bowl. Add avocado oil. Combine until the peppers are coated in the oil.
- Add the oil coated peppers into your preheated air fryer. Air fry at 400 degrees F for 6-8 minutes, shaking halfway through cooking. If you have a small air fryer, make this recipe in two batches.
