Super Seed Protein Bars
These super seed protein bars are made with a mix of oats, seeds, protein and covered in dark chocolate. They are the perfect no-bake bar and are sweetened with honey!
Ingredients
- 1 cup GF oats
- ½ cup hemp seeds
- ½ cup pumpkin seeds
- ¾ cup smooth peanut butter
- ½ cup chocolate protein powder
- ¼ cup honey
- ¾ cup melted dark chocolate
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix together all ingredients. Press the mixture into a sheet pan lined with parchment paper.
- Press the mixture into a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Spread melted chocolate over the top.
- Freeze for 1-2 hours until solid and easy to cut. Slice into bars and enjoy! Store in the fridge.

Hi, Vera! I would recommend swapping out the hemp seeds for another whole seed such as flax rather than flax meal.

This is one of my older recipes from years ago. The older recipes do not have the plug in for the nutrition calculator.

Love the use of hemp seeds but will add a bit more liquid next time to keep them from crumbling out. Also, although the instructions state to use a "sheet pan", the picture shows an 8x8 or 9x9. I used a 9x9 and like the depth of the bars. I drizzled a small amount of melted chocolate over them instead of the thicker layer. With minor changes, I’ll make these again.
