Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 3 pita pockets  - I used whole wheat pita pockets making my chips darker in color. You can use white or whole wheat.
  • 1 ½ tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  • First, cut your pita pockets into eight slices each. You should have a total of 24 slices.
  • Next, preheat your air fryer to 325 degrees F.
  • Add the pita slices to a bowl with oil and the spices.
  • Combine gently with your hands without breaking the pita. Make sure that the bread is evenly coated.
  • Place the seasoned pita in an air fryer basket in a single layer. I recommend cooking the chips in two batches to ensure they get nice and crispy.
  • Air fry for 5-7 minutes at 325 degrees F, shaking halfway through. Mine were perfect around the 6 minute mark.
  • Place the chips on a wire rack while the other batch cooks.
  • Serve the chips with your favorite dip! I paired the chips with my Greek Yogurt Dill Dip.
