Ingredients

For the pasta:

  • 2 cups dried shell pasta
  • salty water

For the meat:

  • ½ pound lean ground beef
  • ½ cup diced yellow onion
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

For the garlic yogurt:

  • ½ cup full-fat greek yogurt
  • 1 small grated garlic clove
  • 1 pinch sea salt

For the butter sauce:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ½ teaspoon sweet paprika

For topping:

  • cup halved cherry tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons fresh flat leaf parsley

Instructions

  • In a pot, bring salty water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to the package’s instructions.
  • Heat a pan over medium heat. Add the beef to the pan. You don't need oil. Break up the beef as it cooks with a spatula. Cook for about 5 minutes, or until the beef is no longer pink.
  • Add onion, paprika, garlic powder, sea salt and pepper. Cook for 4-5 more minutes until the onion has softened. Deglaze the pan with about ¼ cup water if the meat or spices begin to stick to the pan.
  • To make the yogurt sauce, combine Greek yogurt, grated garlic and salt.
  • To make the butter sauce, microwave butter in a small bowl until melted. Then, stir in the paprika.
  • To assemble, add drained pasta to a plate or bowl, top the yogurt sauce, meat, tomatoes, parsley and drizzle with the butter sauce.
