This Spinach Avocado Pesto Sauce is a healthy, easy, creamy, and delicious basil pesto recipe. It also can be made to be dairy free!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups dry pasta of choice - (I highly recommend Blue Evolution Seaweed Pasta. You can purchase it HERE.)
  • 3 cups baby spinach
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ cup mashed avocado - (about ½ avocado)
  • cup chopped walnuts
  • cup parmesan cheese
  • cup nutritional yeast
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • To make the pesto sauce, blend all of the ingredients above in a food processor except for the pasta until creamy.

  • Cook pasta according to the box's instructions. Combine the pasta with the sauce. Optional: Add a few sun dried tomatoes on top!
