Ingredients

  • 2 cups old fashioned rolled oats
  • ½ cup chopped nuts of choice
  • ½ cup vanilla protein powder - (I used vanilla whey protein powder.)
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 egg white
  • 3 tablespoons pure honey

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F.
  • Place all ingredients into a mixing bowl. Mix until well combined.
  • Spread granola onto a baking sheet with parchment paper in an even layer. This will allow it to cook evenly.
  • Bake at 325 degrees F for 18-20 minutes. Gently flip the granola halfway through. Be careful not to break the clumps or you won't end up with any granola clusters. The granola should be a deep golden brown color from the caramelized honey.
  • Allow the granola to fully cool before enjoying. It will crisp up as it cools.
