Mixer Shredded Chicken

The best stove top shredded chicken recipe! The secret to shredding the chicken is to use your stand or handheld mixer!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ lb boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 3 cups bone broth - you can use chicken bone broth or beef bone broth!

Instructions
 

  • Place chicken breast and bone broth into a saucepan. Bring the broth to a boil. Then, lower the heat to a simmer and cover with a lid.
  • Cook the chicken for 12-16 minutes, or until cooked through. Don't overcook or the chicken will be rubbery. Remove the chicken breast from the saucepan and place it into a stand mixer with a flat beater attachment. You can also use a handheld mixer.
  • Turn the mixer on low-medium speed and watch your chicken shred!
