Instructions

  • Add almond flour, cacao powder, hazelnuts, almond butter and maple syrup into a food processor.
  • Process for about 30 seconds, or until a doughy-like texture has formed.
If the mixture is too dry, add 1 teaspoon of water at a time until the texture is perfect.
  • Use a 1 tablespoon cookie scoop and roll the dough into balls.
Place the balls onto a plate, cookie sheet or board lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate them for 30 minutes.
When there is about 5 minutes left of refrigeration time, melt down the chocolate chips with coconut oil.
  • Place chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave safe bowl.
Microwave in 30 second increments to ensure the chocolate does not burn. (Example: Microwave for 30 seconds, stir the chocolate and then place back into the microwave.) Repeat this until the chocolate is completely melted.
  • Drizzle the melted chocolate over the bliss balls.
Sprinkle with flaky sea salt, if desired.
Place them back into the refrigerator for 30 minutes for the chocolate to set.
