¼cupmayo or Greek yogurt- I used Primal Kitchen's Avocado Oil Mayo.
¼cupketchup - I used Primal Kitchen's Unsweetened Ketchup
1 ½tablespoonsDijon mustard
1teaspoonhot sauce
2tablespoonsfresh lemon juice
½tablespoondill pickle juice
¼teaspoondried dill
¼teaspoonsweet paprika
¼teaspoongarlic powder
salt and pepper to taste
Ingredients for the bowl:
1poundlean ground beef- I used 90% lean.
1teaspoonavocado oil
1teaspoonpaprika
½teaspoongarlic powder
½teaspoonchili powder
salt and pepper to taste
8cupschopped romaine lettuce
½cupdiced onion
1 ⅓cupsdiced tomatoes
4chopped dill pickles
¾cupshredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
First, make the burger sauce. Whisk together all of the ingredients for the sauce in a small bowl. Set the sauce aside.
Heat a pan on medium heat with avocado oil. Add the ground beef to the pan. Use a heat safe spatula to break up the meat.
Add the seasonings and cook the meat until it is no longer pink. It should only take a few minutes. Drain the grease from the meat before adding it to the burger bowls. I used a slotted spoon.
Now, it's time to assemble the bowls. Divide the ingredients evenly between four shallow bowls. Place the lettuce on the bottom, add the cooked ground beef on top, shredded cheese, tomatoes, pickles, and red onion. Pour a desired amount of dressing over the top and enjoy!
