Baked Gluten-Free Chocolate Donuts

Ingredients
  

Doughnut Batter:

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 3 tablespoons cacao powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 spray olive oil  - For greasing

Doughnut Topping:

  • cup melted dark chocolate
  • 1 sprinkle sprinkles - Optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grab a donut pan, grease it with olive oil and set it aside.
  • Mix together almond flour, cacao powder, baking powder, salt, vanilla extract, eggs and maple syrup to form the donut batter.

  • Spoon about ¼ cup of the batter into each donut mold. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-15 minutes.

  • Allow the donuts to cool completely before removing them from the donut pan.
    Baked donuts on a wire rack.
  • Dip each of the donuts into the melted chocolate. Sprinkle with desired about of sprinkles. Allow chocolate to harden by placing the donuts into the fridge for about one hour.
  • Remove from the fridge and enjoy!
