Equipment

  • Air Fryer

Ingredients

  • 2 heads of garlic
  • 3 teaspoons olive oil

Instructions

  • First, preheat your air fryer. If your air fryer has a preheating option you can preheat your air fryer. If you don’t have that option, you can run the machine at 380 degrees F for 2-5 minutes. Leave the machine running for about 3 minutes for smaller air fryers. Leave the machine running for about 5 minutes for larger air fryers.
  • Cut the tops off of the heads of garlic. Ensure all of the cloves are exposed.
  • Place each head of garlic into it's own foil. Drizzle each with 1 ½ teaspoons of olive oil and wrap tightly.
  • Place the foil wrapped garlic into the air fryer. Air fry at 380 degrees F for 22-26 minutes. If you're using smaller heads of garlic, shorten the time a bit. Remove the foil wrapped garlic with tongs. Allow them to cool for 10 minutes before removing from the foil.
  • Simply squeeze the head of garlic and the cloves will just fall out. Use it in recipes or spread it on bread with olive oil, flaky sea salt and pepper.
  • If you spread the garlic on bread, make sure to use good quality extra virgin olive oil!
