Make sure the green beans are ready to go. Rinse them, dry them and trim them. I bought them pre-trimmed!
Set up three mixing bowls. In one bowl, crack the egg, add egg whites, pour in almond milk and whisk. In the second bowl, add bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper. In the third bowl, add almond flour.
Coat each green bean in the egg mixture, then, the bread crumbs and lastly, the almond flour.
Note: Dip each green bean into the egg mixture with one hand and use your other hand to dip the bean into the panko and almond flour. One hand for the wet and one hand for the dry. Do this so you won't make the bread crumbs or almond flour soggy and you won't have breaded fingers.
Remove each green bean one at a time and transfer into an air fryer. You need to make this recipe in batches. I know it's annoying, but the green beans will not become crispy if they are stacked on top of one another. The air must be able to circulate around each of the beans.
Once the green beans are in the air fryer, spray them with a little avocado oil spray. Cook at 400 degrees F for about 5-8 minutes. Serve immediately with Primal Kitchen's Ranch Dip.
