Coffee Nice Cream with Homemade Magic Shell is a healthy and tasty dessert. This banana ice cream is made with just 4 simple ingredients and is gluten free, vegan, dairy free and refined sugar free.
Combine all ingredients in a high speed blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy. Add almond milk by the tablespoon if your blender/food processor isn’t strong enough to process the frozen bananas. You can add a splash of maple syrup or honey for extra sweetness.
Enjoy right away as soft serve or store in the freezer for later. If you do freeze it, allow the nice cream to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to soften before eating.
How to make your own magic shell?
Melt dark chocolate chips with 1 tsp coconut oil. Pour over your nice cream and watch the magic happen. The chocolate will harden within seconds. I also added a sprinkle of sea salt on top!
