Whole Wheat Baked Donuts are yeast free, easy to make and so tasty! These donuts are filled with chocolate chips and topped with melted dark chocolate and natural sprinkles.
– almond milk
– avocado oil
– vanilla extract
– coconut sugar
– whole wheat flour
– baking powder
– mini chocolate chips
– melted dark chocolate
– natural chocolate sprinkles
In a mixing bowl combine almond milk, avocado oil, egg, vanilla, coconut sugar, whole wheat flour, baking powder and mini chocolate chips. The donut batter will be thick.
Grease a donut pan. Spoon the batter into an icing bag or use a Ziploc bag and cut the bottom in order to create a makeshift icing bag. Squeeze the batter into the donut pan in circular motions.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-14 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let the donuts cool completely.
Once the donuts have cooled completely, dip each one into melted chocolate and top with sprinkles.
Place the chocolate dipped donuts on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper and let them cool in the fridge for about 40-60 minutes until the chocolate has hardened.
