First of all, these Crispy Spiced Chickpeas are made with 8 ingredients. All you need is chickpeas, olive oil, coconut aminos, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, dill, paprika and black pepper. Secondly, these crispy chickpeas are the perfect addition to a salad. They are awesome paired with my Healthy Caesar Dressing! Lastly, bake or air fry these chickpeas.

If you are in the market for an air fryer, THIS is the one I have!

Servings 1 cup

Ingredients

  • 1 16 ounce can of chickpeas (rinsed and drained)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp coconut aminos
  • 1 tsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  • Let the chickpeas dry on top of napkins/paper towel on a sheet pan for however long you have patience for. The longer you let them dry, the crispier they will be.
  • Coat the chickpeas in the olive oil, coconut aminos and spices. Ensure all chickpeas are completely covered in the spice mixture.
  • Bake the chickpeas on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper in a 400 degree oven for 30-40 min until crispy.

Alternative Method:

If you would like to air fry the chickpeas instead of bake them...

Follow the steps above. Instead of placing the chickpeas onto a sheet pan, toss them into the air fryer and cook at 400 degrees for 15-20 minutes or until crispy.
