Chocolate Covered Dates with Nut Butter

Chocolate Covered Dates are stuffed with almond butter and sprinkled with almonds and sea salt. They taste like chocolate caramel candies.

- pitted Medjool dates - almond butter - dark chocolate chips - coconut oil - crushed almonds - flaky sea salt - optional, but recommended!

Ingredients

Remove the pit from your dates if they are not already pitted. Place them on a cutting board or plate with parchment paper.

Fill each date with almond butter. Place the dates into the freezer. As the dates are in the freezer, melt the dark chocolate with the coconut oil.

Dip the dates one by one in the melted chocolate. Sprinkle each with almonds and flaky sea salt (optional).

Place the dates into the fridge until the chocolate has hardened and enjoy!
