First of all, these Healthy Chocolate Chip Muffins are grain-free and very low sugar! They are sweetened with a small amount of honey. Secondly, the texture of the muffins is perfect. When I ate one, I instantly thought of a Little Bites Muffin. Do you remember these? The Entenmann’s ones? I’ll place a picture below. I found that when they sat out overnight in an air-tight container, they tasted more like Little Bites. Most importantly, whether or not these remind you of Little Bites too… I think we can agree that these are the BEST Healthy Chocolate Chip Muffins!

Suggestions for adding protein powder? Swap some of the flour?
I have not personally tried protein powder in this recipe. I cannot share exact measurements for this reason. Check out this recipe if you are looking for a protein muffin. Protein Blender Muffins – Krista <3
Will these work with flax seed eggs? Or is there another way to replace the eggs?
Hi, Avery! You can try using flax eggs for this recipe, but I cannot guarantee the same texture as I haven’t personally tried. If you are looking for vegan baked goods please see some other recipes below that you might like!
