Banana Bread
This gluten-free banana bread is made with a handful of wholesome ingredients and sweetened with maple syrup!
Ingredients
- 2 cups GF oat flour
- 1 ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking powder (gluten-free)
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
- 2 spotty-brown bananas
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- ⅓ cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- Mash spotty-brown bananas with a fork until smooth, pour in maple syrup, applesauce, two eggs, oat flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, vanilla and chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into a greased 9×5 loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 min. Let cool, slice and enjoy!

I made these as muffins a few weeks ago and they were sooooo good! It’s also such an easy recipe to add to. The first time, I made it with chocolate chips. The second time, I swapped out the chips for walnuts. Such a great staple – love having them in my freezer for when I crave something sweet!
